🦅 E.A.G.L.E. Traits of a Middle School Athlete

E – Effort
Middle school athletes give their best in every practice and game. They understand that hard work and persistence are more important than just winning.

A – Attitude
They maintain a positive and respectful attitude toward coaches, teammates, opponents, and themselves. They show sportsmanship in both victory and defeat.

G – Growth
They embrace challenges and learn from mistakes. They are always looking to improve their skills, mindset, and teamwork.

L – Leadership
They lead by example—on and off the field. Whether it’s encouraging a teammate or staying disciplined, they show responsibility and maturity.

E – Excellence
They strive for excellence in athletics, academics, and character. They understand that being a student-athlete means balancing both school and sports with integrity.
